On November 13th, 2013 at the Culture and Information Center of the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece was held Ukrainian - Greek Business Forum "Investment and export opportunities ot the Khmelnitskyi region". The event was held with the co-operation of Hellenic-Ukrainian Chamber.

The Ukrainian delegation headed by the Governor of the Region Mr.Vasil Iadukha, represented by Vice Governor Mr. Leonid Gural,  leaders of the powerful enterprises of the Khmelnytsk Oblast - Director of "Krasylivskiy Aggregate Plant" Mr. Petro Korolyuk, Director General of the regional power distribution company "Khmelnitskoblenergo" Mr. Oleksandr Shpak, General Director of the company "Ukraine - 2001" Mr. Vadym Leyvi, Head of the Krasilivskaya District State Administration Mr. Petro Arsenyuk, President of the Khmelnytsky Chamber of Commerce and Industry  Mrs. Nataliya Byelyakova, as well as the representatives of the Khmelnytsk Region State Administration  Mr. Sergiy Flentin, Mr. Iurii Turovets and Mr. Vadym Shapoval.

From the Greek side in the forum participated more than 30 companies and industries of the different types of activities interested in developing trade and economic relations with the Khmelnytsk Region of Ukraine.

The event is going to represent the Khmelnytsky region, most attractive, dynamic region of Ukraine with a strong and entrepreneurial environment. There were the presentations of region`s companies, bilateral meetings.

During the business-forum the Protocol of cooperation between the Khmelnytsky Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been signed. From Ukrainian side it was signed by President of the Khmelnytsky Chamber of Commerce and Industry  Mrs. Nataliya Byelyakova, from Greek side –  by the President of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Vassilis Korkidis, who participated in the event.

The event, which took place in the framework of Ukrainian - Greek cooperation, represented in Greece the investment and export opportunities and potential of the Khmelnytsk Region of  Ukraine, promoted effective search of business partners and establishing bilateral business contacts.

As part of the regional Ukrainian - Greek cooperation during the visit to the Hellenic Republic the delegation of the Khmelnitsky region is also planned the signing the Agreement between Khmelnytsk Region State Administration and the Administration of the Region of South Aegean on cooperation in trade-economic, scientific, technical and cultural spheres, which are planned to held on Rhodes Island on November 14, 2013.
