Ethnic Ukrainians (about 25 thousand) nowadays reside mostly in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Patras. A significant number of Ukrainians live in Crete and Rhodes islands.

Ukrainians in Greece are represented by a number of non-profit organizations (6 – in Athens, 1 – in Thessaloniki).

Also, there are three Ukrainian Saturday schools in Greece, which cooperate fruitfully with the International Ukrainian School acting under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
