On March 25, 2014 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov took part in the celebration of the Independence Day of Greece.

The celebration attended by the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Karolos Papoulias began with the Te Deum at the Cathedral of St. Dionysios Areopagitis  and completed with a military parade on the central square of Athens.

In the framework of the event Ambassador V.Shkurov also discussed the current political situation in Ukraine with the representatives of the executive and legislative power in Greece as well as with the heads of the numerous foreign diplomatic missions in Athens.
