On February 8, 2011 Ambassador of Ukraine to Hellenic Republic Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Dimitris Droutsas.
The Ambassador of Ukraine informed the Minister about current political and economic situation in our country, its foreign policy priorities, as well as recent developments in the field of European integration policy of Ukraine and its priorities for 2011.
Greek Foreign Minister informed on the main efforts of Greece in overcoming the financial crisis as well on the main foreign policy priorities of Greece. He also emphasized on traditionally friendly character of the Ukrainian-Greek relations and expressed confidence that there is a great potential for further intensification of bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting the Sides discussed the full range of bilateral relations and exchanged views on the development of political dialogue between Ukraine and Greece. The interlocutors expressed mutual confidence that planned for 2011 common bilateral events would provide a new impetus for the boost of the cooperation between Ukraine and Greece.
