Director of A5 Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Georgios Poukamissas welcomed the parliamentary elections in Ukraine. Mr. Poukamissas said about it on October 31 during a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine in Greece H.E. V.Shkurov.

Greek diplomat underscored, that the elections were well organized, honest and democratic. Mr. Poukamissas welcomed the advantage in the Ukrainian Parliament pro-Western parties as security for the European future of Ukraine.

Separately, a Greek diplomat noted that Ukrainians in Greece have realized their constitutional right to choice in favor of democracy and freedom. According to him, the elections in the Ukrainian Embassy in Athens also were  conducted at a high level.
