In accordance to the nuclear operator of Ukraine `Energoatom`, on November 28, 2014 at 19.24 pm the unit #3 of Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Station  was disconnected from the network effect of protection against internal damage to the generator. The reason for disconnection - damage to the transformer voltage sections of Auxiliary Power Supply unit, which led to the disconnection of the transformer and auxiliary switch block transformer.

Automatic protection unit worked in the project of the algorithm. Block transferred to the cold without comments. No radiation effects. Preliminary assessment of events for International Nuclear Event Scale INES: Below Scale/level "0".

Currently, work to restore power auxiliary unit is underway. The network is scheduled to be provided to connect on December 5, 2014.
