On January 22-23, 2015 in the capital of Greece, Athens, under the organization of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, was held an international conference on ‘Back to the Cold War or forward to a stable relationship? Political and energy relations between Russia and the West in the Black Sea”.

From Ukraine the event was attended by Mr. Ihor Zhovkva, Head of Directorate General for Foreign Policy and European Integration, Administration of the President of Ukraine, Mr. Sergiy  Solodkyy, First Deputy Director, Institute of World Policy (IWP) and H.E. Mr. Volodymyr  Shkurov, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic.

The participants of the conference discussed the current state of geopolitics and cooperation of states in the frames of the powerful organizations, as well as problematic of Ukraine.
