On February 13, 2015 at the Embassy of Ukraine in Athens Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov met with the Head of Greek National Commission for UNESCO Mrs. Maria Papachristopoulou-Tzitzicosta and President of the GEO Routes Mr. Giannis Balakakis.
During the meeting were discussed issues of the development Ukrainian-Greek cooperation in the framework of UNESCO, and the procedure of signing the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve and Geo Routes Cultural Institute.

Ambassador V.Shkurov also informed the President of the Greek National Commission for UNESCO M. Papachristopoulou-Tzitzikosta on the monitoring by UNESCO the situation in the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea (Ukraine).
