On May 22, 2015 in the framework of the working visit to Riga, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held a meeting with Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras.

The parties have discussed the situation in Donbas, where the Greek community resides. The President has noted the determination of Ukraine to fulfill all items of the Minsk agreements and emphasized that the unity of the EU was extremely important for the promotion of that fulfillment.

The Prime Minister of Greece has assured of the support to the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as to the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas through the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

The President has urged the Parliament of Greece to ratify the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU as soon as possible.

The President has invited the Greek Prime Minister to make a visit to Ukraine.
