On June 17, 2015 at the Cultural and InformationCenter of the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece was presented the Art project `Father of Hero`.

The initiators of named event in Greece is the Lviv National Art Gallery of  Voznytskiy and the Embassy of Ukraine to the HellenicRepublic.

The exposition, presented in the framework of the project at the Cultural –information center at the Embassy, includes 25 black and white photographs of the fathers of Heroes, who died in the area of Anti terroristic operation in eastern Ukraine, as well as the photos and videos from the family archives. Thus Ukrainian photographers – authors of the mentioned art project – have tried to convey to a wide audience the tragedy of the victims and expressing deep respect to their families.

Presentation of the project took place with the participation of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov, Deputy Director of the Lviv National Art Gallery of Voznytskiy Mrs. Crystyna  Beregovska, and with the presence of the numerous guests of the Embassy – representatives of the Greek cultural and educational circles, the media and Ukrainian community in the country.

In addition, in the framework of the presentation at the Embassy was also take place the opening of the exhibition of creative works of the International Action "Children of the world for the peace!", held in May 2015, in which an exchange of drawings between children of 15 countries was there. The initiators of the event was Ukrainian PO `Voluntary movement of Bucovina` and `Lysychansk development promotion`. Organizer of this international action in Athens was Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Support and DevelopmentCenter "Trembita" with the participation of other Ukrainian cultural and educational institutions in Greece and cultural center "Caucasus".
