On September 6, 2010 at the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece the official ceremony of presenting of exequatur to the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in the town of Patra (Greece) Mr. Alexandros Angelopoulos by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Greece Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov was held.

In his speech during the event Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Volodymyr Shkurov congratulated Mr. Angelopoulos with the beginning of this important activity as the Honorary Consul of Ukraine and stressed on the remarkable features of the new consular office in Patra in providing effective protection of Ukrainian citizens living in the region and promotion of economic ties between Ukraine and Greece.
