On January 25, 2013 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov at the invitation of the Grand National Commander of Grand Priory of Greece `Grand Marshall Alexander the Great` Dr. Paul Tsolakian took part in the event in honor of Ukraine, that was held in the framework of the international program `To Get to Know the Peoples of the World` at `Yacht-Club of Greece` in Piraeus.

The guests of the event, including representatives of the business elite and the government of Greece, were welcomed by the children in Ukrainian national dress. In the beginning of the evening Ambassador of Ukraine V.Shkurov welcomed the guests of honor with the traditional Ukrainian loaf `Karavay`. A documentary film about Ukraine was showen. In his speech, Ambassador V.Shkurov informed the numerous audience about the foreign policy priorities, the process of social and economic reforms in Ukraine as well as the perspective directions of the cooperation between our country and Greece.
