On November 26, the Embassy of Ukraine and the Greek-Ukrainian Chamber, with the participation of Ukrainian community associations and students of Ukrainian Saturday schools, held the honoring events of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933.

In the morning, we took part in the Divine Liturgy and the bishop's requiem held in the Church of the Holy Mother of God, located in Goudi Park in Zografou, and laid flowers to the Taras Shevchenko monument. During the day, we had the opportunity to watch the film "Bitter Harvest", a Canadian drama about the events in Soviet Ukraine in 1932-1933 and the life of Ukrainians under the artificial famine and Stalinist repressions.

Today, Putin, as a good student and sincere follower of Stalin, advocates the same practices of food terrorism, spreading them against the whole world through the bombing of Ukrainian warehouses with provisions and port infrastructure, blocking and constant attacks on humanitarian missions that transport Ukrainian grain across the Black Sea to countries in need of food.

We are sure that the only way to ensure European and world food security is to defeat the Russian neo-imperialist policy aimed at punishing Ukrainians for the desire to build a modern and successful democratic Ukraine, for our civilizational choice to be part of a united Europe.
