On the eve of Christmas holidays, Ukrainian carols were performed in the Presidential palace!
Ukrainians kids, students of the Ukrainian Saturday school of the Cultural and educational center "Berehynia," dressed in traditional Ukrainian attire, sparkled like little stars in the sky, singing Christmas carols to the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
Their voices, filled with warmth and sincerity, sounded like a nightingale's song, full of love and sincerity. The Ukrainian carols, sung by the children, instills faith and hope for a speedy Victory because little Ukrainians should live in peace, harmony, and love.
Our traditions have a very ancient history. They are the expression of our national identity, uniting us and enriching our shared cultural heritage. We have much to be proud of and we are sincerely glad that Ukrainian traditions have become a part of the New Year celebration in the heart of Greece.
We genuinely want to express gratitude to the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou for consistent and comprehensive support of the children of Ukraine. Your great attention and care gives them huge opportunity to feel like at home, being far from Home.
