The crime of the Stalinist regime, which affected the fate of almost every Ukrainian family and our subsequent history.
A crime that has no time limits, no excuse, and no forgiveness.
A crime that remained unpunished and gave birth to a new one today - Russian evil repeats it again on our land, destroying all living things, because it feels omnipotent and enjoys impunity.
With the participation of the Embassy of Ukraine, the United Ukrainian Diaspora in Greece and representatives of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Parish of St. Nicholas of Athens, events were held to commemorate the Holodomor victims.
In particular, a joint prayer and memorial service for the victims of the Holodomor was held in the Holy Trinity Church, after which a peaceful action was held on the central Constitution Square.
We are grateful to the initiative group of the United Ukrainian Diaspora of Greece and to everyone who joined the events today and together with us honored the memory of Ukrainians killed by hunger.
