On August 23, 2013 at the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece a reception on the occasion of Independence Day of Ukraine and celebrating the 22nd anniversary of the Ukrainian Independence took place. To celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the independence of the Ukrainian state gathered the representatives of Ukrainian community in Greece.

Welcoming the participants of the grand event, Ambassador Volodymyr Shkurov underlined the role and place of modern Ukraine in the world arena, the historical significance of gaining our independence as well as stressed that the European aspirations of Ukraine is one of the main priorities of  its foreign policy.

Numerous guests of the event had the opportunity to taste the  traditional Ukrainian cuisine, hand-made by the staff of the Embassy.
