The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine share a deep concern about the violent confrontation at Independence Square in the last day, which will give a legal assessment of an objective investigation, carried out on behalf of the President of Ukraine.

For the Ukrainian people, who have repeatedly demonstrated its wisdom, tolerance and respect for European values, the right to peaceful assembly, freedom of expression and human rights is a fundamental principle of building a democratic society.

We are confident, that the citizens of Ukraine at this time also show to the world devotion to these values, manifest restraint, not subjected to provocation.
