On December 5, 2013 in the Cultural and Information Center of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic was held the Opening ceremony of National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve's photo exhibition „Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Shrine of Ukraine” with the presence of the CEO of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve Mr. Lyubomyr Mykhaylyna.
In his speech Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. V.Shkurov underlined on the great importance of the holy to Christians all over the world place – Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which is a prime example of the history of Ukrainian Baroque.
The CEO of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve Mr. L.Mykhaylyna has told about the history of the exhibition and invited all to visit the largest and most prominent among Orthodox monasteries in Ukraine - Kyiv- Pechersk Lavra.
The visitors of the exhibition enjoyed the spectacular views of the majestic Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, its famous caves, temples and other monastic buildings and wonderful singing of the Chorus of the Association of Ukrainians in Greece “Ukrainian Land of Storks”.
