Among the key legislations, first of all, is necessary to note the following:

- The Resolution “On self-withdrawal of the President of Ukraine from performing his constitutional duties and setting early elections of the President of Ukraine”, according to which early elections of the President of Ukraine will scheduled for May 25, 2014;

- The Resolution “On taking political responsibility for the situation in Ukraine”, according to which Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mr. O.Turchynov has been authorized to coordinate and direct activity of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;

- The Resolution “On conferring powers of the President of Ukraine on the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada according to article 112 of the Constitution of Ukraine”, according to which the powers of the President of Ukraine have been conferred on the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mr. O.Turchynov;

- The Resolution “On preventing separatism manifestations and other encroachments upon foundations of the national security of Ukraine”, which condemns separatist manifestations and demands from the Security Service of Ukraine immediately investigate all messages about actions with signs of crimes against foundations of the national security of Ukraine, particularly, encroachments upon territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, as well as to take all drastic measures to stop and prevent threats to national security of Ukraine;

- The Resolution “On the text of the Constitution of Ukraine in the version of June 28, 1996 with changes and supplements, made by the respective laws of Ukraine of December 8, 2004 No. 2222-IV, of February 1, 2011 No. 2952-VI and of September 19, 2013 No. 586-VII”, according to which Recognize as valid on the territory of Ukraine provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, adopted during the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 28, 1996 with changes and supplements, made by the respective laws of Ukraine of December 8, 2004 No. 2222-IV, of February 1, 2011 No. 2952-VI and of September 19, 2013 No. 586-VII;

- The Law “On amendments to several Laws of Ukraine (regarding the separate issue of the judicial system and status of judges)”, which stipulates the instruments of parliamentary control on issues of appointing, electing, dismissing judges, and bringing them to responsibility;

- The Law “On recognizing the Law of Ukraine “On the Principles of State Language Policy” as void”.

Also a number of personnel decisions have been approved. Specifically, dismissed from performing duties of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Mr. V.Zakharchenko, of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. L.Kozhara, of the Minister of Health Care of Ukraine Mrs. R. Bohatyriova, of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mr. D.Tabachnyk, as well as expressed distrust to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine V.Pshonka.

In addition, Mr. O.Makhnitskyi appointed the Commissioner for controlling the activity of the Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine, Mr. V.Zamana appointed the Commissioner for controlling the activity of the Defence Ministry of Ukraine, Mr. V.Nalyvaichenko appointed the Commissioner for controlling the activity of the Security Service of Ukraine, Mr. A.Avakov appointed the acting Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
