On May 10, 2014 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov took part in the ceremony of awarding Professor Mr. Aristidis Yapalis as a Honorary doctor of the University of Peloponnese.

As part of the event, and in the context of Ukrainian-Greek regional relations Ukrainian Ambassador also held working talks with the Rector of the University of Peloponnese Mr. Konstantinos Maselos, with the Dean of the Department of Economic Management and Informatics Mr. Andreas Maras, with the Chairman of the Department of economics Mr. Dimitris Thomakos, as well as with the representatives of the local and regional management of the Peloponnesian region Arcadia and the businessmen.
