As part of the celebration in Athens the 69th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, at the invitation of the mayor of the Municipality of Kallithea K.Askunis, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic V.Shkurov with the members of the Embassy`s staff took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the monument to the liberator-soldiers at the Municipality of Kallithea (Athens).

Speakers at the event underlined the great importance to the world community of the heroic act of bravery of all who gave their lives for gaining the victory in the war against fascism.
