On May 9, 2014 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov has held a meeting with the deputies of the Greek main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) headed by the Party’s General Secretary Mr. Konstantinos Isychos.

While a meeting the latest developments and the tendency of the internal political life in Ukraine were discussed. Greek MPs condemned the confrontation and using of weapons in the course of events in Ukraine as well as expressed the support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people's rights to national self-determination.

During the meeting K.Isychos handed a petition from the SYRIZA addressed to the Government of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in Athens.
