On May 9, 2011, H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov took part in closing this year's Tourist Festival, where more than 1500 tourists from Ukraine participated. The Festival took place on the Greek island of Rhodes.

In the framework of the visit H.E. Volodymyr Shkurov congratulated the participants of the Festival with the Victory Day. Furthermore, the Ambassador met with the Metropolitan Kyrillos of Rhodes and the Mayor of Rhodes Mr. Stathis Kousournas and discussed the development of the Greek-Ukrainian cooperation in the fields of tourism, culture and protection of cultural heritage. The Ambasador of Ukraine also spoke on the local television.
