On January 14, 2015 Ambassador of Ukraine to the HellenicRepublic H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov met with director of the Greek distribution company `Danaos Films` Mr. Ilias Georgiopoulos.

During the meeting were discussed the possibility of popularizing modern Ukrainian cinema in Greece and, in particular, organizing for Greek audience the premiere of the film `Tribe` of the famous Ukrainian film director M.Slaboshpitskiy. In 2014 `Tribe` has won awards at the Cannes and Milan Film Festivals and was recognized by the European masters as one of the best films of last year.
