On February 27, 2015 at the premises of the Embassy of Ukraine in Athens was held the ceremony of the signing the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve (Ukraine) and Geo Routes Cultural Institute (Greece). The event, which was held under the auspices of the Greek National Commission for UNESCO, was attended by President of the Greek National Commission for UNESCO Mrs. Maria Papachristopoulou-Tzitzicosta.
From the Ukrainian side a document was signed by Director General of National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve Mr. Luybomyr Mychailyna, from the Greek side – by President of the GEO Routes Cultural Institute Mr. Giannis Balakakis.

Memorandum will promote further development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Ukraine and Greece and deepening cross-cultural ties, as well as implementation the various projects and programs under the auspices of UNESCO.
