On July 13, 2012 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Mr. Volodymyr Shkurov visited the Greek Centre for Research, Technology and Development Thessaly region, situated in Volos, in the framework of the Ukrainian-Greek cooperation in scientific and technological fields.

During the visit the Ambassador held talks with the director of the Center Mr. Ilias Hustis as well as with the Center personnel. He also visited the premises of the University of Thessaly and schools in the cities of Magnesia and Pilion.

As a result of negotiations the sides agreed on the participation of Ukrainian and Greek researchers in joint programs. Signing of the relevant agreement in this sphere and development of Greek-Ukrainian regional cooperation were also discussed.
