During the thousand-year history one of the main features of Ukrainians was the willingness of the freedom. That’s what encouraged Ukrainians to struggle for independence. Ukrainian state inherits the traditions of statehood from Kyivan Rus, the Kingdom of Galicia-Volhynia, Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the Cossack state, Ukrainian statehood of the early 20th century.
After the rebirth of our independence 27 years ago we will never lose it again, because the heart of every Ukrainian preserved the pain and sadness, memory and respect, proudness and pray for those centuries which our nation lived without state, and those millions of Ukrainian patriots which gave their lifes for it.
Glory to Ukraine!
