This weekend dozens of countries from different parts of the world presented their cultural assets, traditions and cuisine.
And among the rich cultural diversity, the Ukrainian stand took a special place there and touched the hearts of every guest.
Among the dishes offered by Ukrainian housewives, you could find borscht, varenyki, sandwiches with lard and herring, Lviv cheesecakes, deruns, pancakes and pies with various fillings and many other delicacies from different parts of Ukraine.
Ukrainian craftswomen presented the creative works of our people - from motanka dolls to traditional bracelets. Paintings with a Ukrainian flavor, charming New Year's decorations, handmade with elements of national culture, as well as wooden toys and handmade decorations caused special admiration.
Also during the event, Ukrainian groups of Saturday schools performed - the children presented elements of Ukrainian traditional dances from Hopak to Hutsul dances, and most importantly - caused an incredibly positive wave of emotions from the audience, which supported Ukrainian groups with their sincere smiles and continuous applause.
The Ukrainian stand was organized jointly with the initiative group of the United Ukrainian Diaspora in Greece.
The proceeds will be used for charity to give the little Ukrainians of Greece a New Year's miracle.
