On November 23, Ambassador of Ukraine Sergii Shutenko met with Andreas Katsaniotis, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hellenic Republic for Diaspora Greeks.

The counterparts discussed the role of the diaspora in the context of deepening Ukrainian-Greek relations, in particular in the field of cultural diplomacy and humanitarian relations.

"Active and persistent work of the Ukrainian and Greek diasporas contribute greatly to the deepening of our bilateral relations," Sergii Shutenko said during the meeting.

The parties paid special attention to the events and projects in 2022 pertaining the 30th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Greece.
