On July 6, 2011 the Ukrainian-Greek Consultations in European Integration on the level of the Directors of Foreign Ministries' Departments took place in Athens.
During the Consultations the Sides exchanged views on the actual state, opportunities and prospects of deepening Ukrainian-Greek cooperation in bringing Ukraine closer to the EU. In particular, the progress in negotiations over Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, and visa liberalization as well as some aspects of the European Neighborhood Policy were discussed. A special attention was focused on the implementation of the Memorandum on cooperation on Ukraine's approach to the EU.
Both Sides positively assessed the state and prospects of the Ukrainian-Greek cooperation as well as common interests and approaches in European Integration.
