In 2018, Embassy staff, together with representatives of Ukrainian public organizations in Greece, held an informational action #CrimeanTatarFlag and # RedCard4Putin.

Thus, the Embassy has supported the international action, which aims to reiterate the unity of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatars, and draw the world community's attention to the struggle of the Ukrainian people for their country's independence, territorial integrity and suverenity. 

The Ukrainians of Greece and the diplomats who gathered at the traditional place of celebration of remarkable dates - near the monument to Taras Shevchenko in the courtyard of the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece - kept the image of the Crimean Tatars state banner and symbolic "red cards "For Putin in protest against the illegal occupation of Crimea by Russia and against the 2018 FIFA World Cup in a state that the world recognized as aggressor.
